On the bus from San Jose to Chilamate!

Students board the bus for a longer than expected ride to Chilamate. Many of the main roadways through Costa Rica wind through impressive mountains and a forest of greenery and are often the only thoroughfare between locations. A single auto breakdown can slow traffic for miles. The scenery is stunning and the pace can be tortoise-like. This is not NYC, and that's much of the point! Our students are to be applauded for their energy, patience, and positive energy throughout!
